Sound level monitoring is the process of measuring and tracking sound levels in workplaces to protect workers’ hearing and ensure a healthy environment. This monitoring process helps clients identify areas or equipment that produce dangerous levels of noise and keeps the client in compliance with regulations.
Comprehensive Sound Surveys We typically perform A-weighted sound level surveys of client operational areas. We also perform octave band sound level surveys on specific identified equipment for the purpose of identifying a sound signature so sound reducing controls can be implemented.
Field Work Once a proposal has been accepted by the client, we will assign an on-staff IH Technician and/or IH Associate to perform the field work.
Isopleth Drawings The A-weighted sound level readings are transposed into isopleth drawings to readily illustrate the areas of concern.
Final Product TES provides comprehensive project reporting to ensure project documentation and reproducibility of the sampling.
