Ventilation system assessments involve evaluating how well a workplace’s local and general exhaust systems are functioning to protect workers’ health and safety. These assessments ensure that the systems are effectively removing airborne contaminants in work areas as well as assisting the client in identifying system deficiencies and areas of improvement.

Survey Scope Coverage Ventilation surveys typically include laboratory hoods, process air exchange systems, and temporary confined space systems.
Regulatory Evaluation Standards Our IH team uses evaluation guidelines set forth by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH), by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to perform the ventilation surveys and to design the temporary confined space systems.
