TRAINING

The best safety and health procedures are ineffective without proper training. Procedures are commonly written “high level” and can be confusing for the average worker. Training should reflect written procedures but must ensure every worker has the understanding and knowledge to perform their job safely. TES collaborates with its clients to develop a learning environment that encourages workers to ask questions, provide feedback, and take an active role in their safety. TES trainers are mentors and facilitators of knowledge rather than the dominant content experts. Training can be provided from our standard training course inventory or from custom training courses that TES will develop to address site-specific issues. We prioritize providing our clients with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment.

OUR APPROACH - DEVELOPMENT

  • Client-Centric Design We work closely with our clients to design customized safety and health training. These projects typically start with a discussion between our team and the client to determine the purpose and scope desired by the client.

  • Proposal Development Following the conversation, our team will develop a proposal detailing the deliverables of the customized training.

  • Cooperative Scheduling Once the proposal is approved, the EHS Senior Professional(s) and/or TES CSP will schedule the project and draft customized training. The draft customized training will be sent to the client stakeholders for review and comments.

  • Training Delivery Once all feedback is received and approved by the client, the EHS Senior Professional and/or TES CSP will schedule the virtual or onsite training. The final product for this type of project is the powerpoint presentation, along with an executed sign-in sheet.
