SOUND LEVEL MONITORING

SOUND LEVEL MONITORING

Sound level monitoring is the process of measuring and tracking sound levels in workplaces to protect workers’ hearing and ensure a healthy environment. This monitoring process helps clients identify areas or equipment that produce dangerous levels of noise and keeps the client in compliance with regulations.

OUR APPROACH - AUDITING

  • Comprehensive Sound Surveys We typically perform A-weighted sound level surveys of client operational areas. We also perform octave band sound level surveys on specific identified equipment for the purpose of identifying a sound signature so sound reducing controls can be implemented.

  • Field Work Once a proposal has been accepted by the client, we will assign an on-staff IH Technician and/or IH Associate to perform the field work.

  • Isopleth Drawings The A-weighted sound level readings are transposed into isopleth drawings to readily illustrate the areas of concern.

  • Final Product TES provides comprehensive project reporting to ensure project documentation and reproducibility of the sampling.
